ScreenCommand needs a USB-C iPad on iPadOS 17 or later, or an iPhone on iOS 17 or later, plus a monitor, TV, or Apple TV. There is no Mac version, and with nothing connected the app only shows a “Connect External Monitor” screen.

Over a USB-C cable everything plays, including Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Paramount+ and Peacock. Over AirPlay to an Apple TV, websites, YouTube, Vimeo and other web video play, but those streaming services need the cable: AirPlay screen sharing can't carry their protected video.
How to connect →iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air: AirPlay only
Their USB-C port doesn't carry video, so a cable can't connect them to a monitor or TV. They work over AirPlay to an Apple TV, where the streaming services that need a cable don't play. Every other iPhone from iPhone 15 on connects either way.
Websites, not apps
ScreenCommand puts a full-screen web browser on the monitor or TV: up to 4 windows with up to 12 tabs each, shown one at a time or two side by side. It runs websites only. Apps can't run on the TV through it: not the Netflix or YouTube apps, not games or other apps from your iPad or iPhone, and not Mac or Windows apps. Open the service's website instead.
